sisu therapy

virtual, flexible, and accessible therapy across ontario & nova scotia

Make sense of what you’re carrying, reconnect with yourself, and find a way forward at your own pace.

Individual psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, feeling stuck, identity concerns, and life transitions.

Many people seek therapy because they feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or unsure how to move forward. You may have a sense of what needs attention in your life but feel unable to start, follow through, or make decisions without becoming flooded or stuck.

Therapy here is not about pushing harder or becoming “more resilient.” It’s about slowing things down, understanding what’s getting in the way, and finding supportive, sustainable ways to regain clarity, momentum, and self-trust.

meet yasmin

I’m Yasmin, a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), offering virtual therapy to adults across Ontario and Nova Scotia. I work with individuals who are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or navigating life transitions, identity questions, and changing expectations.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced with care — offering space to make sense of what you’ve been carrying and to move toward change in a way that feels manageable and respectful.

how therapy can help

therapy can be helpful if you are experiencing:

  • anxiety, worry, or persistent overthinking

  • emotional overwhelm or burnout

  • difficulty starting or completing tasks

  • feeling stuck, frozen, or unsure how to move forward

  • low mood, loss of motivation, or disconnection

  • identity questions or internal conflict

  • stress related to family, work, or life transitions

  • struggling with intergenerational, cultural or family dynamics

Many people I work with are capable, thoughtful, and responsible — yet feel blocked or depleted internally. Therapy focuses on understanding the emotional and psychological barriers to movement, not on pressure or performance.

taking the first step

Starting therapy can feel uncertain — especially if you’re not sure what you need or where to begin. A free 15-minute consultation offers space to ask questions, share what’s bringing you here, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
